New Grove Baptist Church actively supports missions and ministry locally and around the world! Locally, we support ministry work at Blanche and Unity Schools, and Crossroads Pregnancy Clinic. We have done construction for seniors in our community and taken mission teams to Pearlington Mississippi, Lynch Kentucky, Gallaway Tennessee, and Osceola Arkansas to do Vacation Bible School (VBS) and Construction. In 2024 we took a mission team to Dillon, Montana to support Beaverhead River Cowboy Church in VBS and help with repairs to the church. In addition, we traveled to Marshall, North Carolina in 2024 to help flood victims from Hurricane Helene. New Grove supports North American missionaries through the Cooperative Program and Annie Armstrong Easter offering.
New Grove Baptist has taken mission teams outside the USA to Tapachula Mexico, Haiti, Orange Walk Belize, Zambia and Uganda Africa, and Taiwan. This teams have done VBS, Evangelism, and Construction in support of local churches. In Taiwan, our mission team supported International Mission Board (IMB) missionaries in presenting the Christmas Story in Taiwan schools. New Grove continues to provide prayer and financial support to Yingtao Church in Taiwan. New Grove also support International Missionaries through the Cooperative Program and Lottie Moon Christmas offering.
In 2024 New Grove Baptist Church spent 32% of its budget on missions, which was greater than any other budgeted item. We believe that missions begin at home, as I share Jesus with my family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and classmates. However, missions must reach around the world as Jesus said, “. . . as far as the remotest part of the earth.” (Acts 1.8) It is our desire to do our part in sharing the wonderful gospel of salvation through faith in Christ at home and around the world!
